Firecracker Irish Car Bomb
The cigar is a 3 x 50 petit robusto that uses a barber pole wrapper design made from Dominican candela and Mexican San Andrés leaves, with the candela providing the tobacco used for the line’s signature wick. Underneath that is a Nicaraguan criollo binder, while the filler uses Dominican ligero along with Nicaragua and Pennsylvania broadleaf tobaccos. The cigars are produced at the Magia Cubana factory in Gurabo, Dominican Republic.
The Firecracker series of cigars was created at Two Guys Smoke Shop in New Hampshire in 2007 with the Don Pepin Garcia Blue Label cigar that measured three inches long with a 50 ring gauge. Its cap was decorated with a long strand of tobacco that resembled a fuse, and with a release date around the July 4th holiday, the line was born. Since that first cigar, the Firecracker line has evolved into its own brand, which is made at the Leyandas factory in the Dominican Republic. It is an ongoing offering from United Cigar Group, which along with Two Guys Cigars, is headed by David Garofalo.
